like maybe I’m hungry but everything I have in the house at the moment would take 10+ minutes to prepare so I just……put off making the food for WAY longer than it would have taken to prepare the food when I first got hungry

The other day my father’s friend died in an unfortunate accident.
When I go to his house to say condolences his family,
There was “Puppy mill”.
There were 45 dogs.
Dogs who were trapped in a narrow gauge since birth and were unable to go for a walk.
His family wanted “to dispose” the dogs.
I asked the owner of the dog to have “disposal” put on hold.
I love dogs and own a dog.
So, I want to help dogs.
I began looking for a dog’s foster parent.
Desperately seeking even now.
But, there are many sick dogs.
A lot of dog food is also necessary.
I started using my money to take care of a dog, but it is quite a difficult situation.
I need pretty much money now.

It’s embarrassing… in Japan such a terrible Puppy Mill is legal. The police did not be relied on.
So, I called some animal shelter. But it seems they need a few days to come here.
For now, I keep looking for dog foster while continuing to care for the dogs.
I will do my best I can do, until all the dogs can be helped!
It takes a lot of work to do.

From what I’ve heard, australian magpies are actually quite nice if they trust you not to hurt them. Swooping season happens because, as a species, they’ve learned that most humans are Dangerous and so they preemptively attack to protect themselves and their young. If you’ve been nice to a group of magpies, though, they’ll remember you and you won’t be swooped at.
Magpies are extremely cool birds, and very intelligent… which means that they know that humans are the biggest threat around and that we can be good friends. Thus, swooping, and also not swooping humans who have proven themselves to be trustworthy sources of food.
The funniest interaction I ever had with some magpies was when one of my former workplaces had our Christmas lunch as a picnic in a park. A pair of magpies were teaching their fledgeling how to beg for food from humans. First one would approach, crouch down and coo at us; someone threw them a bit of cheese. Then the other adult approached, crouched down and cooed at us; someone threw a piece of cabanossi. Both tidbits were picked up, taken back and shared with the offspring… then the adults were standing there looking at the fledgeling and then at us, obviously going “Go on, then, you try it!”
Fledgeling magpie nervously walked closer to us, looked back at its parents, then half-crouched and yelled “RAWK!” in our direction. We cracked up laughing, startling the poor baby, but he or she got over it pretty quickly when a HAIL of bits of cheese and sausage landed all around.

i was a hopeful one for 2k19 until yall told me theyre turning a one direction wattpad fic into a movie so. guess its another three hundred days of hell ahead

okay i know this is like funny haha meme and all but anna todd is an almost 30 year old married woman who wrote a fanfiction about harry styles who is many years younger than her that not only has him in a lot of incredibly explicit sex scenes but it also portrays him as an ~~abuser~~ bad boy who only wants the main character (bland self-insert girl next door type) for sex. i read a large chunk of the first book of after when i was in middle school and it’s really Not Good.
after has been a problem in the 1d fandom for fucking years because besides being incredibly disrespectful towards harry, by virtue of it being a ~~harry styles fanfiction~~ on wattpad it attracted A LOT of younger girls who were then exposed to a really really unhealthy relationship dynamic that they are encouraged to want and romanticize because it has their idol.
so yes while the sentence “theyre turning a one direction wattpad fic into a movie” is really funny out of context as someone who has been following 1d since before after’s conception and watched firsthand all the bullshit it caused im really encouraging everyone to think about this and maybe give it the criticism it deserves.
I fucking remember this. Lots of girls in my classroom were obsessed with it. One of them ended up in an abusive relationship.
